Meet Captain Chase

About Chase Rowland

Chase Rowland’s passion for boating started at an early age, being born into generations of boaters. He spent his early years boating on the Puget Sound with his family before spending summers in the San Juan islands fishing and exploring the endless number of island destinations. He was able to land his first job at Roche Harbor as a dock staff and spent three seasons making new friends. This allowed him to sharpen his skills on and off the docks. He loved meeting all the boaters that came to visit. Chase likes to say, “There is no such thing as a stranger, just a friend you have not met yet.”

Chase decided this was going to be his career path. As a result of collecting so many days on the water, he got his captain’s license at an early age. He started working for a private yacht management company which allowed him to learn maintenance, surveys, and sea trials along with taking care of day-to-day business needs.

He currently has his 100-Ton Captain License and is waiting for his 200-Ton Master Captain License upgrade to arrive in the mail. This has allowed him to land offshore deliveries of yachts ranging up to 120’ along with his Puget Sound deliveries. His broad set of boating skills and experience coupled with intense attention to detail are qualities that serve him well. Listening to a client’s needs and concerns and being able to manage and resolve issues quickly and efficiently have helped him grow and prosper in this great industry.

When Chase is not on the water, you will find him dirt biking, rock climbing and skiing fast down some steep terrain! Chase is also passionate about helping others as demonstrated by his support of his favorite organization called Outdoors For All.
